My name is Spencer! I’m a 2-year-old Poodle/Pittie mix. I’m a versatile guy. I like the snow, I like car rides, and I love meeting new people. I’m very friendly. I’m almost 60 lbs and I love to play with dogs. Sometimes I get really excited when we are playing and I need a short timeout, but I recover very quickly. My foster mom uses a gentle leader to walk me and I caught on super quickly. I’m also very treat motivated and I like my humans to be happy, so training me is a breeze. I use a dog door and I haven’t had any accidents in my foster home. My foster mom is also teaching me about the crate and sometimes I even take naps in there on my own. I’m a pretty strong, playful guy so my forever home should have a fenced in yard for me and no feline friends, please.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
