The adorable Ralphie is ready to find his forever home! This handsome fluffball is believed to be a 12-week-old Newfie mix, although is exact age is unknown; he’s already 28 lbs and still has all of his baby teeth, which means he’s under 16 weeks old. Ralphie is a water loving fool. Water bowl, puddle, puppy pool, you name it, if it contains H2O you’ll find Ralphie with as much of his body in it as possible. He’s smart as a whip and has caught on to sit, shake, and the doggie door! Ralphie doesn’t love his crate and will whine for a bit but eventually settles down and sleeps through the night and when his foster parents leave the house for a bit. He’s great with humans of all sizes and canine friends, too! He’s a sweet, snuggly, giant baby looking for a Newfie wonderland!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
