Allow us to introduce you to the canine Paul Newman. He’s ever so aptly named. Paul is a 4.5-5 month-old Australian Shepherd mix. He has STUNNING blue eyes that look right into your soul. Paul spent the last couple months of his life in a very small, underfunded, shelter in Texas with his littermates. Since springing the clink, Paul has been settling into his foster home. He very much enjoys the company of other dogs and derives much confidence from them. We feel he will be most successful in a multi-dog home. Paul is very, very sweet and once he gets to know you, he enjoys all the snuggles. He is quite playful with a dash of a mischievous streak and has proven to be quite smart as he learned the doggie door in just a few days.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
