Lexi is an angel with a sweet smile and a big heart. She is potty trained, uses the dog door and hasn’t had a single accident in foster care. She LOVES treats and supper time . She is indifferent to the elusive resident cat and is great around the resident dog. She’s been great with the adults she’s met and is reportedly child friendly, too. Lexi loves going on walks, but does pull a bit… she’s pretty strong. She is great in the car and is always up for adventures. Lexi loves being with her person, snuggling and napping. She’s been left free roam in the house for a few hours and did great! She eats in her crate and sometimes lounges in it on her own. She is an amazing little potato with such a sweet spirit. Lexi is 3 years old and 53 lbs.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
