Gretel is a 3.5-4 month old, female, Airedale. She’s a playful, spirited pup that’s eager to learn! Gretel will do well in a home with older kiddos, a fenced in yard, and she’d enjoy the company of another doggie friend, but it’s not required. While she’s petite compared to her brothers, her breeder indicates she came from Oorang bloodlines and her parents were 70-75 lbs each. She’s well mannered in a home and catches on quick to things like doggie doors and crate training!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
