Chacha puts the “cha” in charming! This 6-8 year old girl is about 10 lbs and she’s ready to find a home as perfect as she is. From the moment she arrived from a high intake shelter in Texas, she was instantly friends with her new humans and dog roommates. Despite being a small dog, she arrived house-trained and she even seems to have the bladder of a larger dog (yes, really!). The shelter noticed that she had some allergies, but she has been treated and seems to be feeling a bit better now that she’s in Colorado.
Chacha’s foster family would say she’s a lower energy dog, but she can still keep up on walks (which she loves) or going on adventures in and outside of the home. She’s also an affectionate girl who loves to curl up (for hours) in your lap on the couch or in a dog bed next to you while you work. She has been great with humans of all ages and other pups, though she doesn’t appreciate super energetic or playful dogs. Chacha does have a touch of resource guarding around food, so she will need to be fed separately from other dogs.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be by your side, this little lady could be the perfect match. Whether she’s curled up into the cutest little cinnamon roll in your lap, spinning in slow circles when she gets excited or wagging her tail during walks, she has a way of making everything feel a little brighter. This snuggly little girl is not a fan of being left alone, so she’s not a match for a home with shared walls.
If you’re looking to add a little sparkle, a lot of silly personality, and tons of cuddles to your life, Chacha’s ready to meet you!
