Brie's Story

Brie the Beauty Queen! This 13 lbs, 3 year old, female, Maltese mix is the whole package! She’s amazing with kiddos, other dogs, crate trained, seems house trained, and the list goes on and on! Brie would do well in a variety of homes. She has low to moderate energy with the occasional short lived zoomie outburst. Brie rides well in the car and walks nicely on a leash! Sometimes when she’s crated she will bark for a bit initially but seems to calm down, therefore shared walls aren’t preferred.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
