G’day mates! Bindi (not a descendant of the great crocodile hunter but indeed an adventure seeker) is searching for a forever home. She enjoys going on walkabouts, hiking through the outback, and hosting summertime barbies (this means barbeques for those that aren’t well versed in Australian). Bindi is great with dog friends and would thoroughly enjoy a similarly sized play pal. Due to her breed we don’t recommend her for a home with ankle biters (no I don’t mean small dogs, she’s fine with them. Ankle biter is Aussie slang for ‘young children’). She’s around 2-3 years old and 38 lbs, which makes her a perfect go anywhere size. She’d be ideal an active owner with a fenced in yard and a strong arm – she LOVES fetch. My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
