Beautiful Beth is a 7-8 month old, female, American Bulldog mix. She’s a petite girl, around 30 lbs but does have some growing left to do. Beth is good with other dogs and has won over even the most stubborn dog’s heart. She’s outgoing, friendly, and sweet to all humans she meets. Her favorite spot is snuggled up on the couch with her human and canine friends. Don’t be fooled though – this girl has moves and can get up and run around with the best of them. Beth is doing great with her house and crate training. She first entered the shelter with bilateral cherry eyes and her eyes were very irritated and swollen. She’s being treated for dry eye and it’s unclear if that will resolve on it’s own now that her swelling is down or if she will need to remain on cyclosporine and artificial tears. She takes them both like a champ, though! Beth is best suited in a calmer home and any forever canine companions should be males.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
