MHCR has partnered with Bergen Spay & Neuter Alliance, Crossroads Veterinary and Fix West Texas to provide vaccines and spay/neuters surgery for dogs in under-served areas of Colorado and Texas.
Preventing unwanted litters through spay and neuter is the best way to reduce pet overpopulation. In addition, a few simple vaccines can minimize the outbreak of deadly disease within these communities.
Our partners provide low cost spay/neuter surgery and travel to various areas where their services are most needed. The cost of these services, while greatly reduced, is still too much for some families.
MHCR is sponsoring the cost of these services so that families that are unable to afford them will still have access.
