Knuckles is a 1 year old, adventurous boy that has found himself in need of a new home. This dude developed a bit of a reputation around town for jumping the 2ft gate at his home and finding his own fun around the town. One of his adventures took him to the neighborhood of one of our foster homes. She promptly contacted the owners on the microchip and they indicated they just could not properly care for this guy anymore and asked if we’d help find him a home. How do you say no to that face? So, here we are with Knuckles, a Golden Retriever with a curiosity and zest for life. Knuckles is a higher energy dude and he requires a 6′ privacy fence (no exceptions to this rule). He’s very playful with dog friends and can be persistent so his canine companion should have a similar energy and play style. He will be a FABULOUS boy once he learns the expectations of his new home. He loves exploring and would make a fantastic jogging or hiking partner. Knuckles was exposed to young children at his prior home and has been around older kiddos in foster care and he does well with both. He’s approx 55 lbs and is very likely fully grown, although he may fill out a bit now that he’s been neutered.
