Sweet Sequoia is a very sweet, snuggly girl. She’s around 4-5 months old and has recently joined MHCR from a rescue in Texas. Sequoia’s mom is a mid-sized, border collie mix. We aren’t sure who her dad is, but she’d definitely be down to find out should you have an interest in submitting her story to the Maury Show. Sequoia is crate trained and is doing remarkably well with her house training since joining foster care. She sits patiently at her foster mama’s feet while she works and warmly welcomes any and all snuggles. Sequoia is also great with canine friends. She’s on the reserved side, compared to her brothers, Kodiak and Rainier.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
