Appa the Amazing is ready to find her forever home. This sweet, silky soft, girl is around 5 months old. She’s a pup through and through but man oh man is she smart! Appa came from a small town in New Mexico. She came down with parvo, like a lot of pups do, but made a super quick recovery and found her way to Colorado. She’s amazing with dogs, is catching on quickly to home living, and we were told she’s even good with cats. Appa is learning about leash walking, doggie doors, and crate training. She enjoys playing with toys and thinks the toy bin is the best thing ever.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
